Metal Stamping

Why VIM for Metal Stamping?

VIM Technology is also renowned in metal stamping service. Metal stamping is perfect for producing customized thin metals. Our mechanical stamping machine is fitted with dies to create shapes from sheet metals. We have a team focusing on metal stamping. As we have our own CNC Machining department, we offer one-stop experience- firstly produce custom made die/mold for clients, and then start the mass production by metal stamping. This greatly saves the cost and speeds up lead time.

We are professionals in processing various metals, including aluminum, carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, titanium, etc. We welcome request for prototyping, small to mass production.

Our 5000sqm ISO9001:2008 fully-equipped factory, skilled team of engineering, technician, programming & manufacturing ensure us to provide the best service to you. Rapid response, high-quality service and fast lead time make us stand out from others.

What is Metal Stamping

Metal Stamping is also called as metal pressing. It is a process of placing a sheet metal into metal press, with the help of mould/die to shape the metal. It consists of various stages, including bending, flanging, embossing, blanking, coining, drawing, ironing, cutting, piercing, and more.

Progressive stamping is carried out in VIM, as it can shape the sheet metals along the production line. It highly improves the efficiency, and hence lower the cost.

The Advantages of Metal Stamping

  • Highly efficient as they are automated process by advanced machine. Blank or coil flat sheet metal are continuously sent to mould/die by feeder. Then the metal press die the material at a predetermined feed length.

Stroke per minute could reach ~60 per minute.

  • Precise with tight tolerances. Metal stamping tolerance and dimension are determined by the mould/die. Once mould/die is made, products will not go wrong. This ensures the quality stability.

  • Wide Range of materials. Tapping machine/ turning machine can process different materials, processing various metals, including aluminum, carbon steel, carbon fiber, stainless steel, copper, brass, titanium, etc.

  • Diverse application: in wide range of industry, no matter how thin the part is and how small/ big the part is.
